HEERAL TRIVEDI

Heeral Trivedi, born in Mumbai in 1973, is an artist who studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University Baroda. Her work is a dynamic reflection of her evolving life experiences, using color and simple elements like stitching and weaving across mediums such as watercolor and acrylic to explore her revelations. Heeral's art delves into the multifaceted nature of women, celebrating their roles as daughters, mothers, sisters, and wives while emphasizing their strength and need for self-assertion. Her paintings are inspired by old Indian maps, creating pathways for her protagonist's journey within herself.

Heeral Trivedi has an impressive exhibition history, including solo and group shows, and has received recognition through the National Scholarship (1996-98) from the Ministry of Human Resources and the Gujarat Lalit Kala Akademi Award in Painting (1998).
