ANAND PANCHAL

Anand Panchal was born in Latur, Maharshtra in 1973.  He is a critically acclaimed artist who studied at the J.J School of Art in Mumbai. He embraces a highly narrative style unfolding stories of rural life through his paintings. His  paintings are often done in a long narrow format, describing the rural scenes of everyday life of children.

 

In his paintings, one sees elements of nature depicting harmony. He displays great range, punctuating the figurative and symbolic elements with abstract spaces, making his paintings appear vast as well as intimate.  Anand Panchal’s compositions are in a radiant palette of brilliant reds, blues and ochres. The bold colours are balanced out perfectly by the expert application of paint. He lives and works from Mumbai.
